About This Site
Most English content about Korean food is written by people who visited Korea for a week and tried bibimbap once. Nothing wrong with that, but there's a whole universe of food they're missing.
This site exists because someone needed to explain why we eat black bean noodles on moving day, why every restaurant gives you free side dishes with unlimited refills, and why ordering fried chicken at 2am is a perfectly reasonable life decision.
You'll find recipe guides, honest restaurant reviews, food-focused travel tips, and the occasional quiz to test how much you actually know about Korean food. Everything here is written from the perspective of someone who actually lives in Korea and eats here every day โ not from a 5-day trip itinerary.
If something on this site helps you discover a dish you've never tried, or saves you from a tourist trap restaurant, then it's done its job.
